Tavolara And Molara Islands

The coasts of the municipality of Olbia, together with the municipalities of San Teodoro and Loiri Porto San Paolo, are an integral part of the Tavolara Protected Marine Area Punta Coda Cavallo. The MPA includes the two islands of Tavolara and Molara, enchanting, wild, unspoilt.

La excursion to Tavolara is certainly one of the most popular excursions for tourists in Sardinia, bathing at the Molara pools is an experience not to be missed.

La Maddalena Archipelago

A few kilometres north of Olbia, on the northern coast of Sardinia, lies the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park near the Bocche di Bonifacio (Strait of Bonifacio), world-famous for its beauty and peculiarities.

The La Maddalena Archipelago consists of a multitude of islands and islets, the most famous of which are the 7 sisters: La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli. These islands are surrounded by an enchanting sea, what the whole world knows as the wonderful sea of Sardinia.

Trips to the La Maddalena Archipelago depart from Palau and by Santa Teresa Gallura.

The Costa Smeralda

The Costa Smeralda is a popular destination to visit, famous for its enchanting beaches, the incredible yachts that ply its waters and the emerald sea that paints its beaches. The Costa Smeralda is not a place, it is a stretch of coastline in Gallura in north-eastern Sardinia. Its extension goes roughly from Capo Ferro to Golfo di Cugnana through the territories of the municipalities of Arzachena and Olbia.
